Jerusalem continued.

My Nativity from Bethlehem. It was the smallest I could find since I have to pack it and ship it later. Handmade olive wood.

It looks nice, not bad flavored, date filling, but its dry… I think it was designed to go with all the little coffee/tea vendors I see around.

A sweet bread with a chocolate filling. Not bad, but not good enough to buy again.

Falafel. I am not quite sure… I have heard about them, so I tried one. Not bad, but not my favorite. Perhaps if it were part of a meal instead of me just munching on it. I think it would be a great side.

And the winner is! Me because I got to eat it and not you! This little darling is sesame seed coated, which during baking roasts them lightly. The filling is date and surrounded by a moist cake. It was very good. So if I see one or two tomorrow I will get some more!

Well, that’s it for today, I have accomplished what I wanted today, am waiting for the washing machine to end so I can put them in the dryer.

So when I was driving to go make pretzels I was listening to the radio and found this song… It’s a little different but I like it. Cosmo Sheldrake

    1. Yep Merry Christmas Carol and everyone! I am truly astounded of the number of people who pose for their selfie without regard to others. At the Israel Museum, I was truly disapointed in people. I watched people step over ‘do not cross’ lines on the floor and touch and pose with priceless paintings for their selfie. Others would step over roped off areas to get their photo. Others touching artifacts and stepping up on displays…
