At -1412 feet below sea level, its the lowest spot on dry earth. The drive here was winding and my ears popped a lot, more so since diving in the Red Sea.

I think the resorts import the sand for the beach, as it’s the only spots that I find sandy beaches. It is a nice 20 degrees Celsius (68F), and boy are my feet white! haha.

Do you have any idea how hard its to clean my armor after walking in the Dead Sea? It’s going to take hours!

The water leaves a residue on the skin. It’s thick as you can see with the bubbles. But warm enough to walk in. I bet this place would be very warm during summer!

Shade for summer, not much use now. The beach had some visitors.

Interesting to see where the sand is thin, salt formations and hard to walk on.

Life guard station and a resort hotel in the background. There are quite a few spas here… Not my thing.

A view down the beach.

A beach front resort.

There are some of these around the beach, ramps and a place to stay in the shade if sunny. The ramps themselves are a little slippery with the mineral deposits.

It was cool to see how buoyant the people were.

On the other side of the sea is Jordan.

Move along, nothing to see here.

  1. So did you see Lot’s wife? She is the pillar of the community. Did you have a good time in Sodom and Gamora, we heard it’s a party fown.
